1899 28 July Lillie's niece, Lucy Holgate was born. Lillie was an aunt at 1 ½ years of age

1903 8 December Lillie's oldest brother Israel was marred to Chastie Stolworthy

1904 21 March 1904 Lillie's youngest brother John Lynn was born

15 August 1904 her nephew Grandon was born

Fall 1904 Lillie started school.

29 September 1904 Lillie's grandmother Hoyt died

1906 Lillie was baptized

1907 Lillie's brother Israle went on a mission to the southern states

1908 18th of February 1908 Lillie's grandmother Esplin died

1909 Lillie had the whooping cough in the spring

1910 Lillie's brother James went on a mission to the western states

1913 Lillie was made secretary to the Primary

1918 16 April 1918 Lillie's brother Lawrence married Lucy Heaton. He left for the service in May

1919 Worked in the Coop store in Orderville in the spring

13 December 1919 Lillie had her first date with Frank Harmon

1920 In May Lille returned home to Orderville

24 July 1920 Frank N. Harmon came to visit Lillie in Orderville

1920-21 Lillie attended Dixie College in St. George

15 October 1920 Lillie's niece Lucy was married to Alvin Englestead

Lillie received her first vaccination for small pox

3 July Lillie's nephew Delbert H. died

1921 31 August 1921 Lillie married Frank N. Harmon in the Salt Lake Temple by T. Richards

Fall Lillie attended the UAC at Logan

1922 In the spring Lillie and Frank moved to the practice farm

21 July 1922 their first child Emily was born

31 July 1922 their first child Emily died

1923 Lillie attended the summer session at the UAC

1923-24 Lillie and Frank moved to Orderville where Frank taught school

1924-25 Frank was principal of the high school

1924 Attended the UAC Summer Session in Logan

1925 23 November 1925 Frank Wendell was born

In July Frank and Lillie bought their first car

1926 24 July in Orderville on a visit

In August Lillie and Frank moved to Riverside, California for a government job

They lived at 33 Lacadena Drive

They spent Christmas in St. George

1927 They moved to 167 E. Ninth Street in Riverside.

They spent vacation time in St. George and Orderville

On 13th of November Frank became the branch president

On 20th of November Lillian Elinor was born

Lillie's parents came to visit for a while

1928 In February they went on a trip to Catalina Island with Israel

Vacation in St. George and Orderville

1929 29th of August 1929 Duane McMurrin was born

In the fall Lillian and Wendell had whooping cough

10th December 1929 they moved to Shafter Experiment Station

1930 17th of February 1930 Lillie's mother died

They bought a new car

1931 Lillie spent May in St. George while the house in Shafter was being remodeled

1933 1 September they moved to Fresno

Lillie taught in the Primary

1934 Lillie's niece, Emily, stayed with them while she attended beauty college

Frank Wendell was baptized

1935 22 December Lillian was baptized

Lillie was a counselor in the Primary to Sister Jarvis

1936 Winter the family all had the mumps

Spring They bought a lot on the corner of Cedar and Hamilton

Lillie was a counselor in the Primary with Sister Bain

In the summer they built one wing of a house on the lot on Cedar

15 August 1936 they moved to the new house

16th December Lillie's father was hit by a car as he was out walking early in the morning

30th December Lillie's father died

31st December they left for Utah

1937 Snowed in for the first week in January

28th March Lillie's oldest brother Israel died

October Duane was baptized

1938 Frank was made branch president

12th April 1938 Frank's father died

Easter vacation in St. George

Went to Utah and brought Frank's mother back to California

1939 Had a temple excursion to St. George

Went to the world's fair in San Francisco

1940 Vacation spent at Huntington Lake in California

1941 Lillie became a counselor in the Relief Society

7th of December was Pearl Harbor

1942 2nd of April Lillie had an operation for cancer. She recuperated slowly taking x ray treatments

1943 June Wendell graduated from high school

10 November Wendell left for Boot Camp- the first Christmas with one of the family gone.

1944 War new - rationing, no trips to Utah, family growing up.

June invasion of France by the Allies

July Spent a week in the mountains with Sister Mooney

Wendell in Treasure Island. Home every few weeks

Christmas - all of the family home. They didn't know when they would be together again

1945 January The branch was divided Lillie was the branch clerk

Wendell left for overseas in the Pacific

Lillie was counselor in the Relief Society

In June Lillian graduated from high school as the valedictorian

In July and August the atomic bomb was dropped on Japan

14th August the war was over

3 November poured the cement for the foundation of the addition to the house

January Helped to shingle the roof, and paint

1946 February Lillian was queen of the Gold and Green Ball

1 May Frank Wendell home from overseas

They moved into the new part of the house

June the branch meets at 5th and Illinois

Lillie was still the branch clerk

29 June They went to Glendale to Dora Harmon's wedding

August all the family went on a vacation to Utah

14th October Frank Wendell called on a mission to the Eastern States

20 October Frank Wendell left for Salt Lake mission home

25th of December first Christmas in the new home with plenty of room

1947 In January the home was all upset putting in hardwood floors

June Duane got his first job

September Notice to be a juror

October Painting the house

June 10 Duane graduated from high school

1948 They took Lillian to Salt Lake to work for the summer in the Church Historians Office

They brought Lillie's sister Margaret and Grandma Harmon for a two week visit

4 July they took a trip up and around San Francisco and down to Los Angeles

1 September they went to Salt Lake to get Lillian, meet Ruth Rockwood and family

Duane started to college

23 September ground was broken for the new East Branch Chapel

13 December Frank Wendell returned home from his mission

25 December all the family home for Christmas

1949 Family home - all going to College

April Conference Frank Wendell became engaged to Ruth Rockwood

May We helped paint the church building

May Duane received a call to a mission in Mexico

17th June Frank Wendell went to Salt Lake to work

Ruth came for a visit

18th June Duane left for his mission

26th June the East Branch Chapel was dedicated. The branch was reorganized and Lillie was released from being the branch clerk

Lillie became the teacher in the genealogy class

20th of August they left for Utah

31st of August Frank Wendell and Ruth were married

Frank Wendell starts to school at the U of U and works for the Deseret News

1950 January Lillian graduated from college and started teaching

Sewing in the summer getting everything ready for Lillian to go to Salt Lake to teach

Made Frank Wendell a genealogy book

7 August Left for Salt Lake - wored in the genealogical library and learned to read films

24th of August Frank and Lillie returned to Fresno - just the two of them again.

6 September Their first grandchild, Brent Rockwood was born to Frank W. and Ruth

October, November and December knitting, making Christmas presents and working on g

genealogy

21 December They left for Salt Lake to spend Christmas with the children. The Christmas dinner was at the Rockwoods

1951 January They were home again

4 April they went to conference with Shirley and Dean Hyde

20 May Fresno Stake organized

29 June They went to Salt Lake to get Lillian

9 July they had returned home

16 August Frank N. Harmon had an operation for appendicitis

26 August Lillie became the assistant in the stake on genealogy

Last of August Lillian left for Salt Lake to teach

December They went to Salt Lake for Christmas

27th December Duane returned from his mission

1952 1 January they returned to Fresno

Duane enrolled at BYU

1 March The second grandchild was born Craig Rockwood

June Frank Wendell graduated from the University of Utah

Lillie and Frank N. went to graduation and stayed for June conference

Lillian and Duane returned to Fresno with them

Duane got a job at the machine shop of Hollenbeck and Bush

29th July Lillie's sister's husband Myron died

Last of August Lillian went back to Salt on the bus

18 August Frank and Lillie bought a new Nash

September Frank Wendell started teaching in Bountiful
